Merry Christmas 2018 / Feliz Navidad 2018

Luke 2:8-11 (NIV)
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
Lucas 2:8-11 (NVI)

DIOS ME VE NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER

Our dear brothers and sisters, it has been another incredibly blessed month of service to the Lord in His ministry of Dios Me Ve. We are grateful to the Lord for the opportunity that He gives us of being able to write to you all and keep you informed of the things that are being done in Dios Me Ve. Thank you so much for keeping us all in your prayers and for your constant support. We thank you for your partnership; it has truly been and continues to be an amazing blessing to our lives and to the ministry of Dios Me Ve. We hope that you can all continue to partner with us in all that the Lord will guide us to do in His ministry and through His ministry during the course of the month of December.

During the month of November we were able to work on some of the construction projects that need to be done in order to build the second floor in Dios Me Ve, where we will have the youth classroom, nursery and office of Dios Me Ve. Thanks to God we laid the foundations and lifted up part of the front outside walls for Dios Me Ve. We were also able to prepare the columns that will sustain the second floor to hopefully be able to pour them soon. The Lord is allowing us to move forward at His time in each one of the projects that need to be done here. Occasionally some of the guys from the community come by and lend a helping hand just to fellowship or pass the time; we are grateful that we are given the opportunity to have them come so that we can encourage them and share with them the Lord’s love and mercy. We ask that you please keep the construction team in your prayers as we all work together in each project; pray that we can continue to be a testimony in the community and to all those who come around us.

The first two Sundays of November were such a blessing to us and the congregation of Dios Me Ve as we received the invitation to join our family in Christ from Tijuana in two shared services. We were blessed with the privilege of being able to fellowship with our family in Christ of Terrazas del Valle and Grupo Mexico for two services in which we all had the blessing of worshiping the Lord together, praying for one another, and learning from the Scriptures and fellowshipping over a potluck lunch. Both Sundays were of great encouragement to us as a congregation; on the drive back home the congregation of Dios Me Ve would recap and share some of the things that the Lord spoke to their lives. Since these two shared services we have seen how many have set out to put into practice what was taught through the Scriptures during the services.

We are so thankful to the Lord for each opportunity that He gives us of serving Him and sharing His love, mercy and compassion with others. Each month we are amazed at all that the Lord has in store for His children; thank you so much for being a part of everything that is done in and through the Lord’s ministry of Dios Me Ve, your many prayers and support were a great help and an amazing tool that kept us moving forward in the month of November.
We would like to take this time to remind you that you are always welcome to Dios Me Ve to personally see and physically be a part of the many things that the Lord allows us to do for the honor and glory of His Name. We will continue to pray for you all just as we know that you will pray for us.

With love and gratitude,

Your family in Christ of Dios Me Ve Ministries

DIOS ME VE OCTOBER NEWSLETTER

Our dear family in Christ, we are so blessed to write to you about the things that the Lord allowed us to do in His ministry of Dios Me Ve through the month of October. It has been such a blessing to have had your partnership in all that was done during the month. Thank you so much for your many prayers and support that has made possible all that was done for the honor and glory of God. We hope that as we continue to serve our Lord in the month of November you feel it in your hearts to continue to walk with us in all that the Lord has for His ministry of Dios Me Ve.

During October the Lord allowed us to get some construction work done in the new restrooms and buildings of Dios Me Ve. Thanks to God we were able to get closer to finishing the restrooms and we had the metal security bars installed in both the doors and windows of the children’s building and the restrooms. This addition in security will allow us to further prepare all that is needed to start the children’s discipleship program that we have been constantly praying for, as we will be able to be better stewards of the Lord’s blessings to the community and no longer have to worry about a potential break in.

During the month we also prepared a part of the structure for what will be the columns of a second floor on top of the buildings of Dios Me Ve. Thanks to God the congregation of Dios Me Ve continues to grow and with that growth we now have different age groups coming to the bible classes to listen to the Word of God.  Families of adults, babies, children and teenagers are being edified in the Scriptures; the children that come receive their own bible study in the children’s building while their parents receive their bible study in the main building of Dios Me Ve; however we do not have a nursery for infants, a classroom for teenagers or an office for counseling sessions. It is because of this that we are praying for the Lord to allow us to expand in the measure that He allows His church in Dios Me Ve to grow. Please continue to pray for us as the Lord guides us in His ministry.

It is always a blessing for us to receive the visit of our Brothers and Sisters in Christ. On this occasion the Lord blessed us with the privilege of serving the community of the Colonia 89 alongside our family in Christ of Living Truth Christian Fellowship. Throughout the course of the year our family in Christ of Living Truth collects toys to give to the children of the community of the Colonia 89 in the month of October. For the past few years the Lord has provided and allowed us to partner up to continue serving Him and spreading His love with this Toy Outreach.

On this day not only are the children blessed but also the adults, as the Lord’s provision is so great that we are able to also bless each family with a pantry and a gift for the adults. Many times the lines are long and the heat is intense for the adults and children who eagerly await their blessings but every year the people of the community amaze us as we see how they withstand the long hours of wait time and the discomfort to be able to receive what the Lord has for them. It is during this event that the Lord gives us great opportunities to pray for everyone, show His love through a gift, a smile, a polite gesture or even a cup of cold water, even the most simplest of things can be used to share the Lord’s love.  As a family in Christ, both the congregation of Living Truth and the congregation of Dios Me Ve joined together to make this event possible by bagging pantries, fixing the toys, organizing the lines, face painting, balloon making, praying and cooking the hamburgers each role was just as important and necessary to bring this amazing blessing to the community. We are so grateful for these wonderful opportunities of service; we pray that the Lord continues to allow us to partner with our family in Christ to bring honor and glory to His Name.

DIOS ME VE SEPTEMBER NEWSLETTER

Brothers and sisters, once again God gives us the privilege of sharing with all of you part of what The Creator continues to do in our lives and through our lives. Wow! One more month full of blessings from God. We thank God for all the time you take to read this newsletter to continue to be aware of how you can pray for us. We ask that you please continue to pray for the Ministry of Dios Me Ve and for all the families that make up this Ministry.

I would like to share with all of you what our Lord Jesus Christ is doing in the life of Abraham, a young father who has been gathering in Dios Me Ve for about 6 years; since he was around 13 years old. Today he is a 19-year-old Young man with the responsibility of raising his little son named Jacob. Abraham is Enrique’s brother, the young man who is studying at the New Tribes Missions Bible Institute in Chihuahua. We have been observing Abraham’s attitude and his positive response to the Gospel and to the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Five months ago God blessed Abraham with a little house through the Ministry of Hands of Mercy with which he entered into a new stage of greater maturity both spiritually and as a man responsible for his wife Michel and the great blessing that God has given them of their son Jacob. Abraham and Michel spoke with me (Pastor Hector) in order to present the beloved little Jacob before the Lord and Creator of everything. The intention of this young couple was to dedicate their son to the service of God and to be guided by the Scriptures to lead a life that pleases God in their entire family environment. God is doing great things in His Ministry of Dios Me Ve, maybe not with multitudes, but we can see the faithfulness of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit through His Word, leading young couples like Abraham and Michel to take big steps of Faith by obeying the instructions and teachings of the Scriptures. Today, Abraham is the one who helps me in the Ministry of the Church with everything required in the maintenance and construction of the buildings. It is for these reasons that I ask you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to keep Abraham and Michel and their little son Jacob in your prayers, so they can continue with their plans to get married and be better before God and the system of this passing world. Pray for them so that if it is God's will they can be the columns of the Church that is established in the region of the Colonia 89 in Ensenada, Baja California.

As many of you may already know, in previous newsletters we have kept you updated on our health as a family and how we have been battling with different serious health problems, especially my wife Maribel. Again we would like to give you an updated report since we have all been struggling with health problems. Thanks to God, Maribel continues her treatment, which little by little has been bringing her to a state of tranquility in her physical health and bringing a Peace from God, although she was physically intervened with surgeries on different occasions this year. We hope in God that she will continue to recover from everything and continue to be of great help within the Ministry of Dios Me Ve.

As for myself (Pastor Hector), I am really very grateful to God for all this time that He has allowed me to be walking, even with a little pain and a few difficulties when performing certain movements. Thanks to God I have been in a progressive recovery with good results, but the doctors have told me about another surgery to remove the titanium structure that I have in my spine, since two of the screws are poorly fitted and cause discomfort when I make certain movements. I will continue praying about my surgery, letting myself be guided by God, without worrying that I have to be operated once more and again go through all the rehabilitation in order to reach once again the physical state in which I find myself today. I thank God for your lives and for all the fidelity you show to God, for having us in your prayers and supporting what God continues to do in our lives and through the Ministry of Dios Me Ve. We will continue to teach the Word of God so that the brothers and sisters of Dios Me Ve can be strengthened in the Lord and may take more authoritative roles within the Ministry in order to continue the spreading of the Gospel within this community. I ask for your prayers to continue sharing the Gospel to all those who need it so much. Pray for our health, so that God will guide the doctors to make the best decision for our family.

About two years ago Maydean had a serious problem with a deformation of her cornea in both eyes; through your prayers and all your support, she was able to undergo surgery to improve her sight physically. According to the doctors, this surgery would help her improve her vision and help her stop having intense migraine headaches, which would not allow her to work and had her away from certain activities inside and outside the Ministry. Before and during surgery Maydean ran the risk of losing her sight in its entirety but thanks to God everything went well. Unfortunately, since the surgery and up until now the headaches have not yet stopped and now Maydean has also been experiencing severe pain in her ovaries. These pains often force her to stay inactivate and set apart in her personal space, which is why we ask for your prayers, so that the doctors can inform us of what is going on with her headaches and ovaries so that she can receive medical treatment and rest from her pains as well as the physical problems she had because of the deformation of her corneas. Currently she is enjoying a better physical and spiritual sight and continues to participate in many activities inside and outside the Ministry, but with some restrictions because of her pains.

As for the health of Hector Jr., he always seems to be very well but recently he has had many pains in his abdomen so in this month as a family we will be setting aside some time to receive medical checkups. Please keep Jr. in your prayers, since we think that maybe he has a hernia in his abdomen because of all the work in the different Ministries of Dios Me Ve. We would also like to inform you that Hector Jr. is about to finish the career that God has led him to take within the University (Law), first God he will be finishing his schooling in December. Please keep him in your prayers for God to guide him in this new stage of his life, either within the Ministry or in what God has prepared for His son Hector Jr.

Once again thank you for all your support and constant prayers; you are a huge blessing for us.

DIOS ME VE AUGUST NEWSLETTER

Brothers and sisters, once again God gives us the privilege of walking in his way and in his Ministry of Dios Me Ve, giving us the blessing of sharing with all of you part of the activities of the Church and the outreaches of Evangelism in different regions of Mexico. It was another month full of blessings from God. We thank God for all your lives, for your faith and obedience and for listening to the voice of God and continuing to be of great spiritual and economic support through all your prayers and your offerings of love. Please continue to pray for all of us who are in the field of work and service for our Lord Jesus Christ in the Ministry of Dios Me Ve.

This month we are very happy to inform you of our beloved Brother Enrique, who faithfully continues with the commitment to prepare for the service and ministry where God may lead him. As a Church we had the privilege of praying for him to send him to Chihuahua once again so that he can continue with his cross-cultural training. Enrique will be spending two years of language training and internship in the areas of ministry work in the mountains of Chihuahua and with different missionaries active within the ministry of Evangelism, based on Rancho Siloe, since he has faithfully completed two years of Bible training in the facilities of the Transcultural Biblical Institute, Chihuahua, Chihuahua. For this reason we ask for your prayers and support so that he may continue faithfully with his commitment and that the Church continues with their commitment to support their missionary in prayer and in economy, whether God directs him to serve in the Church of Dios Me Ve or sends him to those who need to hear of the precious gift of eternal life through his beloved Son Jesus.

This month God gave us the privilege of blessing our brothers in Oaxaca once again with our grain of sand. A pastoral family from Oaxaca residing in the Ensenada region heard about the work that God allowed the congregation of Dios Me Ve, the group of men from Hierro con Hierro from the Church of Horizonte and the Ministry of Hands of Mercy to do in partnership with you through your precious offerings after the earthquake. They also heard about the previous visits that we have been doing with different work teams to be of support to the pastors of those regions of Oaxaca.

Our brothers decided to go to their homeland to be able to gather their relatives and those of their village in order to share with them a delicious meal and share with them the Gospel in their own language (dialect). We give thanks to God for all of you, since through all your prayers and your support we can share the Love and Mercy of God with the people that God already has prepared to receive his gift of eternal life. The brothers were able to distribute audios of the Word of God and express their love and concern for those who are lost both in the capital of Oaxaca and in the area of Tehuantepec, Oaxaca. Thank you very much for your prayers and all your support, if you wish to visit and be able to be of support to our brothers from Oaxaca please keep in prayer and in the future if once again God supplies everything we need we will be heading out on a missionary trip to be of encouragement and support to our brothers and sisters in Oaxaca.

This month was really a great blessing for several families that attend the Church of Dios Me Ve as well as the Church of Terrazas del Valle and a small part of the Church of Grupo México. God gave us the privilege of being able to attend to his sons and daughters in the organization and preparation of meals, during a weekend retreat that we had as a family of Christ, so that they could be edified in the Word of God with the theme of "A family according to the will of God".

We spent three days receiving the Biblical instructions on how to manage our family in our home, in the Church and in the earthly society. After each delightful dish of physical food we had the blessing to accompany it with a delicious spiritual dessert and the opportunity to put it into practice in our family life during our fellowship in the mountains, the pool and in a bonfire where the Churches united their offerings of songs to worship the Creator in the midst of the darkness of the night being illuminated by the moon and the stars. To be able to see all those children, teenagers and their parents adore and praise the Creator was refreshing for our eyes and ears, as we were listening to them and seeing them from afar we were meditating on the hard work that lies ahead in the discipleship of our sons and daughters and the Church. We sincerely want to thank you all for your many prayers and for the great Love you show to the ministry of Dios Me Ve. Please continue to pray for our lives so that God continues to work in us and through us, in our homes, in the Church and within all society.

Thank you very much for being part of the family of Dios Me Ve and for all your prayers and your financial support. We hope to be able to fellowship with all of you soon in your missionary trips to the Ministry of Dios Me Ve.

DIOS ME VE JULY NEWSLETTER

Our dearest Brothers and Sister; we sincerely hope that you are well in heart, mind and spirit. Once again we are blessed with the privilege of writing to you all after another amazingly blessed month of service to the Lord. We are so grateful for the much love and support that you gave us through the month of July. It has been such an incredible blessing to serve the Lord and be a part of what He is doing in the Colonia 89 through our lives and your lives. Thank you so much for another month of partnership. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we continue serving the Lord in His ministry of Dios Me Ve.

We are happy to report that the congregation of Dios Me Ve continues strong in their desires to further their knowledge of the Scriptures and serve the Lord. We are blessed to say that many of our brothers and sisters in Christ from Dios Me Ve have started to be a witness to others of the Lord's great love and mercy. Some have even taken upon themselves the task of inviting their friends and neighbors on the days that we have services. For us, it is amazing to see how the Lord is transforming the hearts of the members of the congregation and how He is using them to continue to spread His love. Please continue to keep the congregation of Dios Me Ve in your prayers as their knowledge of the Scriptures continues to grow.

This month the Lord has given us the blessing of hosting our family in Christ from Terrazas Del Valle in Tijuana. As a congregation we have gone to Tijuana and visited our brothers before but this was the first time they decided to make the trip to Ensenada and bless us with a message from the Scriptures and a great time of fellowship amongst family in Christ. Upon our announcing of their coming to the congregation of Dios Me Ve everyone was extremely excited as we haven’t had the privilege of hosting a local Mexican church before. This was such a great encouragement for all of the members of the congregation.

During the visit of our family in Christ we were all able to worship the Lord together with hymns and songs. We were blessed to hear the children from Dios Me Ve recite a verse that they had been learning in their bible classes and we even had one of the older kids recite the books of the bible by memory. As a family in Christ we were also given the privilege of celebrating the birthday of Noemi, a small girl who has been a faithful member of the congregation of Terrazas Del Valle since she was a baby. After service we enjoyed an amazing buffet of food that was prepared by some of the members of Dios Me Ve and Terrazas Del Valle. Overall that day was full of so many amazing blessings and much encouragement for all of us.

During this month we were also able to help out some of the families in need of the Colonia 89 with backpacks and school supplies for their kids. With the start of every new school year many families of the community are faced with the difficult decision of choosing between paying for their children’s education or paying for groceries and bills. In order to help lighten the load on these parents and help keep these kids in school we carry out a back to school outreach program every time a new school year starts, for which we seek the help of our family in Christ who is willing to donate or purchasing backpacks and school supplies for these kids.

We are so happy to report that once again the Lord provided in such a great manner that we were able to help many children with their school material needs. Thank you all so much as you too were a part of this amazing blessing for the children of the Colonia 89. Thanks to your constant prayers and support we are blessed to inform you that many children have once again been given the opportunity to continue their education in hopes of having a better future.

Our beloved family in Christ, the month of July ended in such an amazingly blessed way that we are encouragingly looking forward to all that the Lord has planned for August. We pray and hope the Lord continues to guide your hearts to partner with us in His ministry of Dios Me Ve through August but above all we pray for the Lord’s will to be done.

With love and gratitude,

Your family in Christ of Dios Me Ve Ministries.

DIOS ME VE JUNE NEWSLETTER

Our dearest Brothers and Sisters; thanks to God we have concluded another month of service to the Lord in His ministry of Dios Me Ve. Here is a summary of some of the many activities that the Lord allowed us to do as a family and ministry during the month of June. We greatly appreciate all your prayers and support during this month, it has all been a huge help and such a great blessing. We pray the Lord continues to abundantly bless you all with the best of His blessings; the Lord grant you all abundant joy, peace, love and grace to continue to live each day in gratitude representing Him justly as His children.

During the month of June the Lord has allowed us to be blessed by the life of Enrique, who has recently come home after concluding the 2 year bible studies program in the New Tribes Missions Bible Institute in Chihuahua. During this month Enrique has been helping with some of the Bible teachings in Dios Me Ve; he has also been praying and sharing with our family in Christ the vision that the Lord has placed in his heart. Initially Enrique set his heart on only completing the 2 year bible studies program at the institute, after which he had planned to return home and serve as a full time staff in Dios Me Ve. However, during the course of his studies the Lord has changed his plans marvelously; He placed in Enrique’s heart the desire to do what few want to do, the Lord has called him to invest his life in sharing the gospel with an indigenous tribe. He has been called to live amongst the people of an indigenous tribe, to learn their language, to translate the bible into their language and to share the gospel with them. This of course is a life time of work for the Lord that he will need to better prepare for so, in faith, he has decided to return to Chihuahua this coming August to enroll in a 2 year missions program in which he will learn all the skills he needs to carry out the vision that the Lord has given him. Please continue to pray for Enrique as he seeks to fulfill the Lord’s will in his life.

This past month the Lord also gave me (Pastor Hector) the blessing of going back to Oaxaca, Mexico. Truly this trip was a great help and encouragement to my personal life. I would like to express my gratitude to all those that are our partners in the ministry of Dios Me Ve. You make possible these trips of discipleship and fellowship with all our Brothers and Sisters in the city of Oaxaca. It was sincerely a trip that was different from all the rest; I was able to see our brothers encouraged to receive our visit as they shared their excitement with us with words and actions of gratitude to God. Pastor Francisco from Tierra Blanca, Oaxaca told me “I knew you would come back brother Hector; the whole church has been praying for yours and Danny’s life so that you guys could return once again”. I thought about our brothers and sisters that partner with us in the Lord’s ministry of Dios Me Ve, all those who come with such a great amount of encouragement and enthusiasm to fellowship, serve and pray with us for all that the Lord continues to do; it is truly such a blessing.

During our trip we did some work on the 10 houses that we had built on our first trip to Oaxaca but even as we were working I couldn’t help noticing the great need that the ministers in those regions have, the same need that other ministers in all of Mexico might also have, which is the need to hear and know that we are not alone in the ministry that God has given each one of us in our distinct areas of service to our Creator. I know that God is with us and with every minister in Oaxaca but it is so great to receive a visit and be able to hear “We are with you in prayer and in whatever you need, God will continue doing His works, stay strong in your Faith”. It was an encouragement to see everyone motivated with a great gratitude to God for allowing us to fellowship and pray together for guidance and the fulfillment of the Lord’s will in our lives. If God wills it, we will return to Tierra Blanca, Oaxaca in the future to be able to see the faces of our brothers and embrace them. Thank you so much for your prayers and words of encouragement, I was able to see what they do in the face of the minister that needs to hear that he is not alone.

During June we were also blessed to have had the visit of some of our brothers in Christ from the congregation of Living Truth Christian Fellowship. Our brothers came to Dios Me Ve to bless us with their amazing service and skills in the installation of the electricity in the new restrooms of Dios Me Ve. Since early morning our brothers drove down to be able to help us with this need. They were hard at work all day in order to get all the electricity up and running so that the restrooms could have light for our Wednesday night services.

It was such a great time of work and fellowship amongst each other; we are so grateful to the Lord for the lives of our brothers in Christ, who leave the comfort of their homes to be a blessing to others. It is always such a great encouragement to have our family in Christ come and encourage us with their visits. Our dear family in Christ, we would like to once again remind you that we greatly appreciate all that you do in service to the Lord. We would also like to remind you that you are all welcome to come and visit us at Dios Me Ve ministries, we would love to be able to fellowship with you all and serve the Lord together.

This month the Lord also gave the congregation of Dios Me Ve the opportunity of being a blessing to others. During the month we received a call from our brothers of the ministry of Hands of Mercy, they asked us for help to clean and give maintenance to the ranch. We of course extended the invitation to the congregation of Dios Me Ve whom quickly gave a positive response and were more than happy to lend a hand to our brothers in Christ of Hands of Mercy. On that day approximately 40 adults and children headed out from Dios Me Ve to the ranch in order to help our brothers in Christ. While at the ranch each person was tasked with different activities, some cut down bushes and trees, others moved wood, tools and materials while others cleaned the various parts of the ranch. All this was done so that the ranch could continue to be safely used by the different ministries and congregations that visit it.

After a hard day of work the Lord gave us a great lunch and an amazing time of fellowship in the pool. Everyone was able to relax and have fun while the kids and some adults jumped and splashed in the pool. It was all truly such a blessed day for everyone. We too were blessed to see the great heart of service of the congregation of Dios Me Ve and their amazing willingness to bless others just as they too have been greatly blessed. Please continue to pray for the congregation of Dios Me Ve so that their desire to serve and help others may continue to grow.

Thank you all so much for sticking by us in another amazing month of service to the Lord. You are all such a fundamental part of all that we are able to do as a family and a ministry in the Colonia 89 and its surrounding areas. We truly hope you once again feel it in your hearts to continue to partner with us during the month of July.

With love,

Your family in Christ of Dios Me Ve Ministries.

DIOS ME VE MAY NEWSLETTER

Our dearest Brothers and Sisters, please receive our most heartfelt greetings as you are reading this letter. It is truly a blessing to be able to share with you a report of some of the incredible activities that the Lord has allowed us to participate in as a family and a ministry during the month of May. As you continue to read this letter we would like to remind you that all this has been possible thanks to the Lord and to all your prayers and support. Thank you for participating with us in all the blessings that the Lord had for the community of the Colonia 89, for our family in Christ and for all the people that we encountered throughout the month of May; we greatly appreciate all that you do to help share the gospel and the amazing gift of Salvation. We pray the Lord always receives the honor and glory.

On May 5th we were blessed to have the visit of our brothers and sisters in Christ of Living Truth Christian Fellowship. Our Sisters had a tea fellowship conference prepared for the women of Dios Me Ve and of the community of the Colonia 89. During the tea conference the women enjoyed each other’s company and fellowship. It was great to see all the women get to know one another and laugh together.  The women were also blessed with a great message of encouragement from the Word of God and a beautiful time of worship. Throughout the conference you could see the Lord speaking to the hearts of all them. But the blessing to the women wouldn’t have been complete if it hadn’t been for a group of our brothers and sisters in Christ that took upon themselves the task of watching over all the children of all the women that were attending the conference. During the conference, some of our brothers and sisters organized a teaching, a skit and some games and activities for the kids, thanks to this the women were able to fully enjoy themselves at the conference and receive the many spiritual and emotional blessings that the Lord had in store for their lives.

On that day the women weren’t the only ones being blessed; our brothers in Christ from Living Truth, along with some of the men from the congregation of Dios Me Ve were hard at work in the construction of the new restrooms for Dios Me Ve. While some were cutting wood and installing doors, others were digging holes and running wire to help get the electricity set up in all the new restrooms of Dios Me Ve. The men too had a great time of fellowship and bonding over a good time of team work. At the end of it all we were all able to enjoy a delicious lunch together and rejoice for all that the Lord had allowed us to do on that amazingly blessed day.

On May 19th God gave my wife and I the privilege of going to Enrique’s graduation at the New Tribes Missions Bible Institute, in Chihuahua Mexico. We decided that on this occasion it would be necessary for us to drive to Chihuahua since we would be bringing Enrique home with us. We started our trip on the 14th of May in order to arrive early to Chihuahua and be able to spend some time at the Bible institute before the graduation. We left home according to plans, and as we began our trip we quickly realized that things would not go as smoothly as we had hoped for.  Not far into our trip we started to have car trouble, we found many unexpected check points that extended the time of our travel, we encountered shoot outs and dangerous roads and we had noticed that our budget was just not going to cover the trip to and from Chihuahua.  It was a trip full of many obstacles and problems; it was as if we were being told not to go to Chihuahua.

We started to pray and ask the Lord to guide us; we had doubts of whether we should continue forward to Chihuahua or call it quits and head back home. So many things came to our heads in those many moments of troubles but somehow the Lord kept us driving and moving forward. Amongst all that was going on the Lord safety lead us to Chihuahua; He provided all that we needed, he kept the vehicle in one piece and throughout our entire trip we were kept safe. It was truly encouraging to see Enrique graduate from the New Tribes Missions Bible Institute. Enrique is the first young man to come out of the Colonia 89 and firmly decide to give His life to Christ and serve Him as a missionary. Thanks to God, Enrique has completed the first 2 year program in the Bible Institute and He has the desire to go back to Chihuahua for 2 more years of mission field training with the ethnic tribes of Chihuahua. We ask that you keep Enrique in your prayers as he is seeking support in prayers and financially to continue his missionary training in Chihuahua.

On this past 26th of May the Lord once again gave us the blessing of partnering up with our Brothers and Sisters in Christ of the Ministry of Hands of Mercy to bless a young family of the congregation of Dios Me Ve with a home. Abraham and Michel are a young couple that have been attending the bible classes in Dios Me Ve for some time now. Abraham was the first of the two to come and hear the bible teachings in Dios Me Ve as his mother is an active member of the congregation. Not much time went by when Abraham started bringing along Michel, his girlfriend. Together they have been seeking the Lord and learning more about the Scriptures in order to better teach their, soon to be born, son the ways of the Lord.

Since both Abraham and Michel are very young and far from prepared to be parents they had been living with their in laws. They would go back and forth from one in law’s home to another thus not having a stable home where they could eventually raise their child. Abraham and Michel asked us for help as there living situation started to worry them. We joined them in prayer and asked the Lord to guide us on what we should do and how we should help and soon after the Lord faithfully answered our prayers. The answer to our prayers came through the lives of our many brothers and sisters of Hands of Mercy. We received word from them that they had a loft house that they would like to bless a family with and asked us if we knew anyone who needed a home. Our immediate thought was Abraham and Michel and soon enough the Lord gave us the blessings of working alongside our family in Christ of Hands of Mercy to build Abraham and Michel a house that they would soon turn into a home. We are so blessed to have been able to participate in such an amazing blessing to a family who truly needed it. It is such a joy to inform you that as soon as the construction was over on that same day Abraham and Michel moved into their new home. Please keep this young couple in your prayers as they continue to seek the Lord’s will for their lives and as they embark on the amazing life long journey of parenthood.

We would like to take this time to thank you all for yet another amazing month of partnership in the Lord’s Ministry of Dios Me Ve. All your prayers and support have been such a huge blessing and a great tool in accomplishing all that the Lord has in store for us each month. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we faithfully serve the Lord wherever He leads us.

DIOS ME VE APRIL NEWSLETTER

Brothers and Sisters, thank you so much for partnering with us during the month of April. It has been such a great month of service to the Lord and to the community of the Colonia 89. We are so blessed to be able to write to you all once again. We pray the Lord continues to place it in your hearts to keep us in your prayers. Here is a summary of some of the activities that took place in the Lord’s ministry of Dios Me Ve this past month of April. Thank you for being a part of it all; your partnership is an incredible blessing to us all. We pray the Lord continues to abundantly bless you just as you have abundantly blessed others.

On April 3rd we were blessed to have the youth Group of Horizon Church come and spend time with the children of the Colonia 89. We are blessed to say that this isn’t the first time that the Lord has allowed us to partner with the youth of Horizon and each of their visits has undoubtedly been a great blessing for us and the community. Our Young brothers and sisters had games and activities planned for the kids, as well as some delicious hamburgers for everyone. We were also able to bless some of the children with backpacks and schools supplies. It was so amazing to see the Lord’s love being poured out onto all the children. From getting used as a canvas to getting splashed with a sponge, from working the grill to serving a plate, each and everything that was done on that day was used as a conduit of the Lord’s abundant love and grace for everyone. We are truly grateful to the Lord for allowing us to continue to serve Him as a His body. Please help us pray that all that was done on that day can transcend through time so that even when those children grow older they may always be reminded that the Lord loves them.

On April 10th we were once again given the privilege to serve alongside our Young brothers and sisters of Horizon. On this occasion the Youth Group came to help us with some construction, cleaning and painting. Since early morning our brothers and sisters were hard at work; while some were helping us install the drainages around the buildings of Dios Me Ve others were painting where needed to be painted in Dios Me Ve and in the community.

We also had the youth help us with some much needed cleaning in the storage and property for the future youth center.  It was all such a huge help and blessing to us and the congregation as these are things that many times we do not have the man power needed to get it done ourselves. We greatly thank the Lord for the willing hearts of our Young brothers and sisters; their service always brings us such great joy. We pray that the desire to serve the Lord continues to fill their hearts and that they may bravely follow the Lord where ever He leads them.

Thanks to God, the congregation of Dios Me Ve is in constant growth. We have recently had more families start attending the Wednesday Bible classes and Sunday services. For years, we only had children attending the bible teachings at Dios Me Ve because their parents would refuse to come, but little by little that has started to change. Now, we have entire families coming to listen to the Word, parents and children together are being edified by the Scriptures. This has been a huge blessing as we have been able to see how the children have motivated their parents to come to Dios Me Ve to learn about the Lord.

Since the recent increase in attendance we noticed that there was a need to have Bible classes for the children. So we prayed and encouraged the congregation to pray about having bible classes for the kids on Wednesdays while the adults were in their own Bible class. We especially prayed for the Lord to place it in the hearts of some of the members of the congregation to teach the Children themselves. After much prayer the Lord answered; the Lord placed it in the hearts of our sisters in Christ, Maria de Jesus and Tere to teach the children, so this past month they have started giving Bible class to the children of Dios Me Ve in the Dios Me Ve children’s building. Maria and Tere have both completed the Firm Foundations bible studies on more than one occasion in Dios Me Ve and they will be sharing the same studies with the children. Please keep Maria and Tere in your prayers as this is the first time that they will be teaching the Scriptures. Pray the Lord gives them His wisdom and His understanding as they disciple the children of the Colonia 89 in His Word.

On April we also received the invitation to go to the Calvary Chapel Bible College Campus San Miguel for an open house event from the 13th – 15th of April. We had a group of brothers and sisters in Christ from the congregation of Dios Me Ve go and worship the lord, get edified through the biblical teachings, get to know the Campus, have fellowship with other brothers and sisters in Christ, and have fun with many team work activities and games. Those that were able to attend the open house spoke of their experience with joy and great encouragement. We are grateful to the lord for the opportunities that He gives us of being able to fellowship with our family in Christ. Please continue to keep the congregation of Dios Me Ve in your prayers; especially pray for those that went to the open house and felt it in their hearts to study the word of God in the Bible College.

We would like to take this time to thank all of you for constantly praying for us and supporting us each month in all that the Lord guides us to do in His ministry of Dios Me Ve. We are blessed to be able to partner with you all and serve the Lord together. We hope that during the month of May you can continue to feel it in your hearts to keep praying and supporting all that the Lord will do through our lives in His ministry and in the community. We look forward to what the Lord has instore for us all.

Much love and many blessings,

Your family in Christ of Dios Me Ve Ministries.

DIOS ME VE MARCH NEWSLETTER

My dear Brothers and Sisters, we hope that you are all well and blessed by our Lord. It has been such a great privilege to have been able to partner with you all in another month of service to the Lord. Thank you so much for your many prayers and much support. We greatly appreciate all that you helped us do in the month of March for the honor and glory of God. Through this letter we hope to inform you of some of the activities that took place in the Lord’s ministry of Dios Me Ve. We also hope to encourage you to continue to be a part of all that the Lord will continue to do in the Congregation and community of the Colonia 89.

On March 23rd we had the great blessing of being able to receive the visit of our Brothers and Sisters in Christ of Calvary Chapel Victorville. Our sisters planned a women’s conference for the women of the congregation of Dios Me Ve and of the community of the Colonia 89. The theme for the conference was “Mujeres Guerreras”; the teachings and testimonies that were shared by some of our Sisters in Christ from Victorville and from Dios Me Ve were such a blessing for the women that attended the conference. Throughout each teaching our sisters spoke of the importance of prayer and intersession for our family, friends and loved ones. It was great to see how the Lord was speaking to the lives of each one of His daughters and encouraging them to rise up as prayer warriors. While our sisters were having their conference the men were helping with some construction work around the buildings of Dios Me Ve. After the teachings we were all able to enjoy a blessed time of fellowship over lunch. It was a truly blessed day for everyone.

On March 24th the blessings continued as the Lord once again allowed us to partner with our brothers and sisters of Calvary Chapel Victorville to bless the children of the Colonia 89. Our brothers and sisters prepared a special message and video for the children of the community. As the children heard the message of the gospel and watched the video that was prepared for them we could see that they were all paying close attention. During the Prayer time some of the children openly expressed their desire to know Jesus and accept the gift of Salvation. Lord willing those children will continue to grow with that burning desire in their hearts and devote their lives to serving the Lord where ever He may lead them.

After the teachings our brothers and sisters had some fun games and activities set up for the kids. They had competitions, three legged races, face Paint, sack races and so much more. The Children were able to enjoy themselves and for a few hours forget about their troubles at home. We were so blessed to see so many smiling faces that day. Even some of the adults that accompanied their children were able to join in on the blessing; we could see some of them laughing as they saw their kids enjoying themselves. After all the fun that was had, both children and adults were able to enjoy a great lunch prepared by the hands of our brothers and sisters in Christ of Dios Me Ve and CC Victorville. Please help us pray that the seeds that were planted in the children’s hearts that day can grow and lead them to the Lord so that they too can have the gift of Salvation and escape that cycle of drugs and violence that many of their families are living in. Please continue to keep us and the children of the Colonia 89 in your prayers. Pray that the Lord may continue to keep them safe and that He may guide us in our discipleship and our efforts to try and reach the children for Christ.

DIOS ME VE FEBRUARY NEWSLETTER 2018

My dear brothers and sisters, it is a blessing to write to you once again to inform you of some of the activities that took place in the Lord’s Ministry of Dios Me Ve during the past month of February. Thank you so much for keeping us in your prayers throughout another month of service in love and gratitude to the Lord. We hope the Lord continues to bless us with another month of amazing partnership. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we follow the Lord’s perfect plan for our lives. We also ask that you continue to pray for the people of the community of the Colonia 89 and all that the Lord has in store for them.

During the course of our bible teachings in Dios Me Ve we have time and time again taught on the subject of marriage. Many couples have heard the teachings but very few act on them, so it is always such a blessing to us when we can participate in a couple’s step of faith and obedience to the Lord. In the month of February we were blessed with the privilege of being witnesses to the marriage of two couples that are part of the congregation of Dios Me Ve.  The first couple that got married was Reyna and Theodore; this couple has been together for many years and they already have a family together. However, they never planned on getting married until the Lord spoke to their hearts through His scripture. Both, Reyna and Theodore decided to listen to the Lord and obey Him so they quickly prepared and got married. The second couple to marry was Alondra and Jose Luis; they are a very young couple that already has two small boys. Alondra and Jose Luis both decided to get married so the Lord could bless their family and so that they could set an example for their sons to seek and serve the Lord. Alondra and Jose Luis got married my court but they have the desire to soon be married by the church as well. Please keep these couples in your prayers as the Lord continues to reveal himself to their lives.

This past month we also received the news that the Lord would allow us to once again partner up with our brothers and sisters in Christ of Hands of Mercy to bless two families in need of the Colonia 89 with a loft house. As soon as we heard this amazing news we knew who this blessing was meant for; we had been praying and asking the Lord that if He provided two homes we would pass on the blessing to Karla and her family, and to Rosio and her family. Karla is a young single mother of 2 kids that has been struggling to get ahead in life. She is currently studying to get her high school diploma during the weekends and works a full time job during the week while she also tries to attend to the needs of her children. Rosio is also a struggling mother of 4 teenagers (three boys and 1 girl), that can barely make enough to feed her family. Karla and her children had to be moving from place to place because she sometimes struggled to pay her rent. While Rosio and her children all lived crammed in one small room made of pieces of lumber, tarps and whatever they could get their hands on.

On February 17th the lives of these families changed; the Lord allowed a group of members from the congregation of Dios Me Ve to partner up with our brothers and sisters in Christ of Hands of Mercy to build these two families a home. It was such a blessing to serve the Lord with our hands and feet, showing His love and mercy to both these families and to the many people that were passing by as we were all hard at work. Each and every piece of material, each tool and each person that helped build were all provided by the Lord to bring an amazing blessing to these families and above all to bring honor and glory to His name. We are so grateful for every opportunity that we get to serve the Lord and be the vessels that He uses to share His love and blessings with others. There is so much that can be accomplished through a unified body of Christ; we pray the Lord continues to bless us with these amazing opportunities of service. Thank you so much for keeping us in your prayers; February was truly an amazingly blessed month for the Ministry of Dios Me Ve. We pray our Lord continues to guide you, protect you and bless you just as He has done with us.

With much love,

Your family in Christ of Dios Me Ve Ministries.

DIOS ME VE JANUARY 2018 NEWSLETTER

My dear Brothers and Sisters it is such a blessing to write to you all again. Thank you so much for another great month of partnership in the Lord’s Ministry of Dios Me Ve. We were blessed to have had your support throughout the many activities that the Lord allowed us to do and participate in during this past month. We hope that you can continue to partner with us in all that the Lord has in store for His Ministry of Dios Me Ve during the month of February. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we continue serving the Lord in the calling that He has given us.

In the month of January we had the visit of Enrique. During his visit, Enrique helped with some of the bible teachings in Dios Me Ve to put into practice all he has learned in the bible institute. He also joined us on the Mission trip to Oaxaca as part of the Dios Me Ve team. It is always such a blessing when Enrique is able to visit and serve the Lord alongside us. We are happy to inform you that his maturity both spiritually and mentally has increased a great deal. The Lord has placed in his heart the desire to serve with the ethnic tribes in Mexico that do not speak Spanish and that desperately need to hear the message of the gospel in their dialect. With this calling, he has returned to Chihuahua to finish his last semester in the New Tribes Bible Institute after which he will continue his missions training in a 2 year hands on program that is also offered by the New Tribes Bible Institute to better prepare to serve the Lord in Missions. Please continue to pray for Enrique, as he continues to seek the Lord’s will for his life.

Our Oaxaca Mission trip was such an amazing experience. The Lord allowed us to travel to Oaxaca on the 14th of January, to bless ten families of the regions of Tehuantepec and Tierra Blanca, Oaxaca. We blessed each of them with a house to help them rebuild their lives after the earthquake that hit Mexico left them without a home. Before our trip we were told that the gospel wasn’t well received in the areas where we would be building so we went on our Mission trip mentally prepared for what we might encounter; however, during our trip we received nothing but kindness and love from the people of Tierra Blanca, Oaxaca. Naturally, many of the people that saw us building the houses wondered why we had traveled so far to build houses for families that we didn’t know. These questions gave us the opportunity to share the gospel with them.

Because Oaxaca is so ethnically rich there is a great variety of dialects in the regions where we were building. The fact that there are many dialects in Oaxaca makes it difficult to share the gospel with the people of these regions because most of the people speak little to no Spanish. But even for this the Lord had a plan; thanks to our Brother in Christ Louis and his wife Connie, who provided audio bibles in the many dialects of Oaxaca, we were able to share the gospel by providing some of the people and families with an audio bible in their dialect. Many of the people that we gave audio bibles to broke down in tears as they heard the gospel in their dialect; they were truly grateful for the message of Salvation that had been brought to them. We pray that those audio bibles can serve as a tool to reach the people of Oaxaca for Christ.

During our trip we were so grateful to God that He blessed us with a hard working team that saw the need of the people in Oaxaca and felt it in their hearts to help. Some of the families for whom we built a house for were living in small shacks that they had built using palm tree leaves and reed sticks, these livings hardly provided them with any protection. For this blessing to be possible, as a ministry we partnered up with our brothers and sisters in Christ from the ministries of Hands of Mercy, Calvary Chapel Horizonte Men’s group, Calvary Chapel Chiapas and the Baptist Church of Oaxaca. Together we all formed a great team of servants that worked to their fullest from January 15th to January 22nd unloading the trailer, carrying pieces of the houses, nailing, cutting and doing all that need to be done to give these families a home.

We are grateful with God for the blessing that he gives us each month of being able to serve him. We pray that all that was done in Oaxaca can be used to always give the honor and glory to God. Thank you so much for being a part of this blessing. Your prayers and support have contributed greatly in making all of this possible. We hope you continue to feel it in your heart to partner with us all throughout the year of 2018. There are still so many more things that the Lord is leading us to do for the honor and glory of His Name. Please continue to pray for us as we move forward in our journey of faith by the Lord’s almighty hand.
