Our dear family in Christ,
We sincerely
hope that you are all well and blessed in the Lord. We would like to take this
time to ask for your prayers and help for a personal need that we have as a
family. In April, Maydean was involved in a car crash. Her car was impacted
from the rear, with such force that she collided with a second vehicle from the
front. As a consequence from the crash she has a cervical sprain and two
hernias in her spine.
Since the crash,
Maydean has had to go through many scans, tests, x-rays, MRIs, taken several
medications and had physical therapy in order to relieve some of the pain that
she feels, recover lost movement and help with her cervical sprain but has not
had any favorable results. She has been struggling greatly to try and get the
responsible party and their insurance company to cover her medical expenses,
per the agreement reached on the day of the accident, but they have been unwilling
to help in any way.
The specialist
has informed us that Maydean is in need of a surgery for the hernias that she
has in her spine and that she needs to get the surgery as soon as possible or
she will continue to progressively lose movement in her body. The specialist
has also informed us that the cost for the surgery, hospital fees and recovery
therapy amounts to $35,000 dlls.
The responsible
party and their insurance are refusing to cover the needed amount, since it is
more than the amount covered by the insurance policy and the responsible party
does not have the funds to pay for this out of their own pocket.
It is because of
this that we ask for your help; we are trying to raise the $35,000 dlls that
Maydean needs for her surgery, medical fees and recovery therapy. We would like
